Skiing shapes children in ways that go far beyond the slopes
The First Steps on Snow 1-3 yo First Ski
There’s something magical about seeing a child take their very first glide on snow. In the right environment, that very first experience on snow becomes the beginning of a lifelong love for snowsports and the mountains.
With over a decade of experience teaching young children, as young as one year old, I’ve created a gentle, nurturing approach to give every little skier the best start, so they can grow naturally into happy, independent skiers.
My exclusive 1-3 year old introduction program is designed to make children feel safe, curious, and proud of every little step. Through play, imagination, and warmth, I help them connect with the mountain in a natural and happy way.
Each session is completely private and tailored to your child’s rhythm because everyone deserves a chance to start skiing in a way that’s fun, safe, and inspiring.
As most ski schools only accept children from the age of three, starting early gives your little one a beautiful head start. Send me a message through the contact form, and together we’ll plan your child’s very first ski adventure.
Kids (3-11 year old)
Kids’ lessons with me are to all abilities, from the very first steps on skis to confident young adventurers exploring the mountain. Skiing helps children grow independent, resilient, and proud of their progress - all while having fun throughout. Through playful, focused learning in a safe and supportive environment, I nurture curious, capable, and happy young skiers who gain both skill and confidence as they progress into more difficult slopes and start to explore new terrains like snowparks and gentle ungroomed areas.
Teens (Ages 12–16)
This is the stage when they’re not yet fully independent on the mountain - but it’s the perfect time to learn how to be. My teen sessions focus on building confidence, awareness, and self-reliance so they can ski safely and injury-free as they grow into independent young adults.
Teenagers are ready for new challenges and through a mix of on-piste challenges, bumps, off-piste adventures, and park sessions, they develop solid all-mountain skills and the mindset to ski with confidence and freedom, preparing them for those future university and friends’ ski trips, ready to explore the mountains responsibly and with style.
We go beyond technique: teens learn mountain orientation, how to read piste maps, plan routes, and make smart decisions on the slopes. They gain an understanding of safety codes, avalanche awareness, and how to respect changing conditions.
I create a safe, motivating, and fun atmosphere where they can express themselves freely, grow their confidence, find what skiing is for them and rediscover skiing as their own passion, not just a family plan or boring group lessons.
For teenagers starting their ski journey, I recommend private lessons so they progress faster in focused one-to-one sessions, without the pressure of groups or the mismatch of being placed with much younger kids or adults.
